This machine produces flexible pipes used in the construction industry to create voids under concrete. The corrugations on the pipe provide resistance to crushing. The flexibility of the pipe eliminates the need for additional equipment like elbows. Flexible pipes are joined by screwing a larger diameter pipe and extending the duct lengths using different diameter couplings. The flexible pipe cutting process is performed by plasma cutting on the machine. This produces burr-free, straight products compared to machines working with saws.
